The Detox Shampoo Bar is a calibrated "Syndent" (synthetic detergent) cleanser that maintains a skin-neutral pH (approx. 5.5) to keep the hair cuticle smooth. It utilizes Yellow Illite Clay to physically bind to and pull oxidized sebum and pollutants from the follicle, while Jojoba Oil—biologically similar to human sebum—conditions the hair shaft. Watercress and Indian Cress extracts provide sulfur and minerals to support the hair surface environment.
To avoid friction damage, the bar should be lathered in the hands rather than rubbed directly on hair lengths. Thorough rinsing with warm water is necessary to prevent the buildup of structural waxes like Cocoa Butter. Following use with a lipid-rich conditioning agent is recommended to restore slip and seal the cuticle after the deep-cleansing process.
