Velvet Rose is a high-viscosity, water-based solution designed with a fructose-free and glycerin-free profile. This osmolality-conscious formulation is intended to maintain the surface condition of sensitive mucosa. While many commercial options use high concentrations of glycols which can create osmotic pressure, this formula utilizes Hydroxyethylcellulose for glide without osmotic stress.
The pH is regulated to sit between 3.8 and 4.5, mimicking the natural acidic environment of the microbiome. Because this is water-based, it will eventually be absorbed. During sessions, the existing product can be reactivated with a small amount of water to prevent friction-induced sensations. The formula is paraben-free and petrochemical-free, ensuring it is compatible with all accessory materials.
It is noted that the inclusion of Sodium Benzoate as a preservative may be a factor for ultra-sensitive individuals. The product is non-staining and allows for easy water cleanup.
