This pH-balanced cleanser is a surfactant-light, lactic acid-based formula designed to match the naturally acidic environment of the vulva. It avoids harsh sulfates and fragrance, utilizing Cocamidopropyl Betaine as a milder cleansing agent. The formula is intended to maintain the protective acid mantle of the skin surface.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice and Calendula extract are included to provide conditioning properties for delicate mucosal tissue. The use of Lactic Acid ensures the formula remains within the 3.8–4.5 pH range. Application is strictly for the external vulva, as internal use can lead to a disruption of the microbiome.
While the botanical extracts are soothing for most, individuals with specific plant allergies should exercise caution. To prevent dryness, it is suggested to maintain the skin's moisture barrier with specially formulated intimate gels.
