The formula functions primarily as a sealant, with Coconut Oil and Sweet Almond Oil providing immediate lipid replenishment to the hair shaft surface. Horsetail Extract is included to improve the appearance of hair strength. This balm provides a high shine factor and a quick melting point for easy transition from solid to oil in the palms.
Due to the heavy wax and oil content, application should be focused on the hair fibers to maintain the skin beneath. A weekly deep cleanse of the skin is recommended to prevent the clogging often associated with heavy wax-based conditioning agents.
